As with all the work we perform at DRM, we pride ourselves in code compliance and quality of work. Our team of superintendents takes the time to make sure the details are finished to match the plan the first time, the weep holes are where they should be and the window sills are sloped to prevent water intrusion, one factor that is often overlooked when it comes to Stone and Brick installation. In this market the biggest keys to a quality subcontractor are sufficient labor force and an understanding of materials availability and lead times.

Labor:

With housing units on the rise in the Austin market, most stone companies are having labor issues.  While we are not immune to this problem,  we work hard to make sure that we have adequate labor to meet our obligations.

Materials:

Not all quarries deliver the same product. In many situations a stone called by the same name will look quite different if purchased from a different quarry. It is essential to know what each quarry sells for each name so that if one quarry runs in a bind and can’t deliver, we can switch quarry and not miss a step. If the material simply needs to be from a particular quarry, it takes an organization to track the jobs properly so that the orders can go with sufficient lead time to avoid material issues altogether.

Quarries:

With relationships with Espinoza, Aguado, Cobra and Salado Quarries we can purchase any material that you or your customer wants and have already done the leg work to determine who has the best pricing and who can delivery on time.
